They were known as the Three T’s, best friends since their days as football stars at Bishop Gallagher High School. Taurean Lewis, Terry Canty Jr., and Anthony "Tony" Collins grew up on Detroit’s Eastside and became almost inseparable. Their parents wanted the best for them and put them through parochial schools. All three were in college. But if you weren’t one of the hundreds of friends and family members who mourned at their funerals late, you probably never heard of them. Taurean, Terry and Tony were shot and killed on Friday Jan. 23, 2004. Taurean, Terry and Tony were almost overlooked by the media, still if these three young men were killed in West Bloomfield you would have read more.
